Alanah Tannous

Alanah is known for being fiercely dedicated to her clients, always going the extra mile to protect their interests and secure for them the best possible outcomes in their cases. Some notable examples include:

• Getting a successful outcome for a high profile federal senator against another senator in the Federal Court of Australia.
• Acting for a  high profile businessman against individuals who published highly defamatory Google reviews online, securing the removal of the reviews and payment of damages to the client.

Career

Prior to joining Vardags, Alanah worked as a senior associate at a leading Australian reputational risk firm, and before that as an Associate at Magic Circle firm Clifford Chance, in their litigation and dispute resolution team. Alanah moved to Vardags in 2023 to replicate her success for Australian clients in London.

Alanah has acted for a variety of different clients including politicians, directors, celebrities, athletes, cosmetic doctors and surgeons.

Alanah studied Politics and Law at Macquarie University.

Personal

Alanah is from Sydney, New South Wales. Since arriving in London, she has enjoyed visiting museums and learning about London’s culture and history. However, she remains engaged in Australian history too as a committee member of the Toula Museum Association. Alanah is also a keen tennis player and has a black belt in karate.
