Joanna is an assistant solicitor at Vardags, based in our Cambridge office, specialising in divorce law, including financial disputes and children-related matters.

Joanna completed her Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy at the University of Leeds. She later completed her Diploma in Law at BPP, and her LPC at the University of Law in which she achieved a distinction.
Joanna was a family paralegal at a Tier 1 boutique firm, and later completed her legal training at a different leading law firm, qualifying into the family team. She has extensive experience acting for and advising clients on their divorce, financial disputes (often representing business owners or high earning professionals) and drafting pre-nuptial or cohabitation agreements. She also regularly assists with children matters, including child arrangement, and relocation cases.
Joanna has experience with representing clients in injunction proceedings to protect them from ongoing domestic abuse, and has a growing interest in surrogacy law, and is also becoming increasingly experienced in dealing with TOLATA Part 7 and 8 claims.

"Throughout the whole process Joanna has shown professionalism, interest and understanding, remaining in touch with me even when there has been very little need for her services...I wouldn’t hesitate in using Joanna, again and I would highly recommend her to anyone else".
"I would like to thank you for everything you have done during this divorce process and how you’ve expertly guided me through it. You were always very prompt in your email replies which I was grateful for as I know you would have been dealing with many cases at the same time".
"Efficient & Informative".
Outside of work, Joanna enjoys theatre and the arts, travelling, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. She often attends art exhibitions across London, and in the spring and summer months, you’ll find her on a camping trip or exploring wild swimming spots across the UK or Europe. She has completed three half-marathons, and sits on the YRes committee.
