Maeve joined Vardags on the Graduate Training Programme and qualified in September 2026.

Maeve studied Classics at Jesus College, Oxford and graduated with a first-class degree. She subsequently completed a master’s degree in Classical Art and Archaeology at King’s College London, graduating with Distinction. Maeve’s master’s dissertation explored feminist readings of fifth-century BC Attic vases.
Maeve also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Advanced Relationship-Based Social Work Practice, which she obtained in 2023.
Alongside her training contract at Vardags, Maeve completed the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE), achieving marks in the First Quintile for both SQE1 and SQE2.
Upon completion of her master’s degree, Maeve qualified as a social worker for children and families in an inner London borough. She directly supported families facing issues such as substance misuse, neglect, and the criminal exploitation of children.
Maeve has direct experience and a special interest in working with families affected by domestic abuse and/or coercive control, having worked directly with both survivors and perpetrators as a social worker and in her legal career. In particular, Maeve has a strong working knowledge of the impact of domestic abuse on children.
During her training contract at Vardags, Maeve spent a year training under Robert Hines (Partner, Matrimonial Finances) as well as undertaking a six-month seat in the Children Team led by Caroline Korah (Head of Children). Maeve was admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in September 2026.
Maeve is a member of Resolution, an organisation that believes in a constructive, non-confrontational approach to family law matters.
