Hodhan joined Vardags as a Graduate Trainee in September 2026. Hodhan has worked across multiple intergovernmental organisations, such as the World Trade Organization and the Commonwealth Secretariat. She has also gained experience in litigation after working as a Litigation Paralegal.

Hodhan studied Arabic and International Relations at the University of St Andrews. She went on to graduate from SOAS, University of London with a MSc in African Politics.
After working at the World Trade Organization in Geneva, she completed a BA (Hon.) in Law from the University of Cambridge within two years.
Hodhan passed the Solicitors Qualifying Exam (SQE) 1 and 2 in 2025.
Hodhan began as an intern in the WTO Accessions Division, where she progressed to become a Junior Economic Officer. She then went on to become a Commonwealth Secretariat where she conducted legal and policy research to support the Commonwealth’s mission of fostering peace, prosperity and democracy across its member states.
While working as a Litigation Paralegal, Hodhan worked across the ‘dieselgate’ litigation, the UK’s largest ever consumer claim. In this role, she assisted in case preparation, including drafting formal correspondence to clients and defendants and conducting client research.
Hodhan speaks French at intermediate level, along with elementary Arabic.
Hodhan is an avid reader and is involved in several book clubs. Her other interests include playing tennis and practicing her French.
