Estoril eclipses the competition

Last week the Ahmad Mansour had yet another win on board the stunning bay Estoril de Vardag, the pair soared round the 130-135m track at AL Aryan Equestrian Centre in Jordan. In a previous class Ahmad had more success on the lovely Ficanka de Vardag in the 120-125 two phase finishing 2^nd. Not content with just this feat Ahmad and Estoril came back only one week later to gain another fantastic win. This time at the Arabian Horse Club, Jordan, the dynamic duo leapt their way to a stylish clear in the 130-135m two phase. There appears to be no stopping this brilliant team!

Over in the UK team Vardags had an excellent few days at Barbury Horse Trials. Flora Harris and the young Vivendi de Vardag did a beautiful clear in the Burghley young event horse, showing us once again she really is a talent for the future. Flora also competed Vardags Saratoga in the CCI**, this was a huge step up for Sara having only done one intermediate previously. Sara rose to the occasion and put her twinkle toes into action doing a stunning dressage test, leaving the pair in the top 20 going into the second phase. The show jumping saw Sara have an unlucky four faults but under Flora’s expert hand the team had a fantastic run cross-country coming home clear. This performance saw Sara and Flora fly up the leader board to end up in 11^th place, a fantastic result in most challenging competition Sara has competed in to date! Also a huge congratulation must go to Flora on her CIC*** ride Bayano, who came 4^th in the ERM at Barbury, a massive well done to the whole Bayano team, incredible performance!
