How can I contact you without my spouse finding out?

Many people contacting us for the first time are worried about their spouse finding out. We understand these concerns and have measures in place to alleviate them and provide peace of mind.

As a law firm, we maintain stringent standards of client confidentiality and privacy, as required by the Solicitors Regulation Authority. We will not disclose any of your personal information without your consent, including to your spouse. Furthermore, all personal information is securely held by us, and all communication will be treated with the utmost discretion.

If you are concerned about your spouse finding out that you have contacted us, please do flag this to us and we will take additional measures to protect your privacy. For example, we can:

• Call you from a withheld number
• Return your call between a specified time window
• Avoid leaving voicemails
• Meet you at an inconspicuous venue instead of our office
• Set up a new email address or phone number for you to contact us from

As a matter of standard practice, our highly trained Client Relations Team will confirm that they are speaking with you before they introduce themselves and the firm. If your spouse or anyone else answers, they will end the call as soon as possible, in a way which does not arouse suspicion.  

You may be more comfortable with a trusted third party calling us on your behalf, such as a personal assistant, friend or relative. This is perfectly fine, and we are well accustomed to these situations. Read more about this here.
