Giulia’s influence extends far beyond her practice. As a driving force in shaping family law, she has been an active member of the Italian Association of Lawyers for the Family and Minors (AIAF), serving first on its Board and Executive Committee before becoming President of AIAF Lombardy in 2019. In these roles, she has championed specialized training for colleagues and contributed technical expertise to legislative reform projects, including the fact-finding investigation on Government Bill C. 2953 before the Justice Committee of the Chamber of Deputies in 2015, as well as numerous technical discussions at the Ministry of Justice and the National Bar Council in 2016 and 2017. Since February 2023, Giulia has held a prestigious position as Councillor of the Milan Bar Association and President of its Committee on Persons, Family, and Minors, driving policy, innovation, and shaping the future of family law in Italy.

Consequently, upon separation, there is no joint marital estate to be divided, which greatly simplifies the financial settlement process. Each party retains their own property, although obligations concerning spousal and child support are assessed independently based on legal criteria.
