Education:

After reading Business and Economics, Sarah completed the GDL and LPC (with distinction) at the University of Northumbria. She qualified as a solicitor in 2002.

Career:

Sarah spent the early part of her career with a leading Mayfair firm before returning to her native North East. She established her own consultancy firm exclusively representing high net worth individuals in all areas of family law. In 2016 she returned to private practice and was employed by a well-regarded firm in Northumberland before joining Vardags.

Sarah has a particular interest and experience in farming cases. The damage caused to the farm by a divorce can be irreparable and requires particular expertise. Sarah has acted in a number of farming divorces throughout the North East. She understands the uniqueness of such divorces, in particular the complexities surrounding the ownership of a farm (which can often involve wider family members), the lack of liquidity and difficulty in raising capital.

Languages:

Sarah is learning to speak and write Arabic.

Personal:

Sarah enjoys spending time with her two daughters, exploring the beautiful Northumberland coastline and countryside.
