Education: Nicky read Modern History at University College, Oxford before undertaking a postgraduate law conversion at Northumbria University.

Career: Prior to joining Vardags, Nicky Hunter practiced family law in the North East after qualifying in 2001. Nicky is a skilled advocate and regularly represents clients at hearings at all levels of the family court. She is also a trained collaborative lawyer and so is experienced in resolving disputes outside of the court where suitable. She can advise in relation to a range of agreements including pre-marital and cohabitation. Nicky has successfully represented clients from a wide range of backgrounds, including high profile clients in the entertainment and sporting fields, and is sensitive to the differing needs of each individual client. She is also experienced in acting in cases where there are assets held overseas.

Personal: Nicky was born and grew up in Northumberland. In her spare time she enjoys being a mother, playing the piano and singing in a choir whose performances raise funds for charities.
