Lucy advises clients in all aspects of criminal law, with particular expertise in defending clients accused of serious sexual and/or violent offences. She is also experienced in representing clients facing investigation for complex fraud matters, including boiler room frauds, money laundering and defrauding HMRC. Lucy has a very high success rate in avoiding prosecution for her clients when instructed at the very first stage of investigations.

Lucy has a very high success rate in avoiding prosecution for her clients when instructed at the very first stage of investigations.

Education:

Lucy read law at Cardiff University before completing the Bar Vocational Course at The College of Law in Bloomsbury. She was called to the Bar at Lincoln’s Inn in 2010. Whilst working as a paralegal in a criminal defence firm she decided to qualify as a Solicitor and did so in 2015 after completing the Legal Practice Course and her training contract.

Career:

Lucy is a Senior Associate in our Criminal Defence team. She has over 7 years of experience in representing clients in the full range of criminal offences including drug offences, serious assaults against adults and children and sex offences. More recently, with a particular emphasis on sexual offences from Rape to Possession of Indecent Images.

Personal:

In her spare time Lucy enjoys cooking, skiing and playing netball.
