Antonia joined Vardags in February 2021 and is the firm’s Knowledge Management & Learning Manager.
Antonia studied Law at the University of Cambridge and completed the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law.
Antonia initially worked as a paralegal for Slaughter and May before undertaking pupillage with the Crown Prosecution Service and 2 Hare Court. Once qualified, she was appointed as a Crown Prosecutor and fast-tracked within a year to Senior Crown Prosecutor, handling a diverse and busy case load. Before qualifying as a Barrister, Antonia started her legal writing and editing career, initially working as a researcher at Practical Law Company, before being promoted to Editor. She has since worked for over 15 years as a freelance legal editor, writer and tutor for a range of organisations including the College of Law and Thomson Reuters. Antonia has helped a wide range of national and international law firms in updating their websites and showcasing their legal expertise.
Antonia has engaged in volunteer work throughout her adult life and is currently the Chair of Trustees at a local grammar school. She is passionate about making a difference for those from disadvantaged backgrounds to gain access to opportunities. In her free time she enjoys reading, holidaying with her family, country walks with her Labrador, baking and devising interesting cocktails for friends and family.
