Ayesha Vardags, President

Precis: Kari joined Vardags as a paralegal on the graduate training scheme in September 2017 and is studying the LPC part time with BPP Law School Cambridge. In June 2017 Kari achieved a Commendation on the Graduate Diploma in Law with BPP University. Whilst studying for the conversion course, Kari acted as Director of the Pro Bono project Streetlaw. In this position she arranged for BPP students to give legal presentations at homeless shelters, prisons and schools across Cambridgeshire.

Ayesha Vardags, President

Education: Kari read Classics and German at St John’s College, Oxford, graduating with a BA in 2013. In 2011 Kari undertook a year abroad in Germany. There she worked as a language assistant and completed a five-week internship with Siemens.

Career: Prior to joining Vardags Kari interned at two leading law firms in Vienna, where she gained an extensive insight into the legal profession. Kari also spent two academic years as a full-time English teacher at a highly ranked private primary school in Vienna.

Languages: Kari is fluent in German.

Personal: Outside of work and study Kari is a keen runner. As an undergraduate she played for the Oxford University netball team.
