Ayesha Vardags, President

Precis: Prior to joining Vardags, Juliet spent a year working at a public relations firm and a leading corporate law firm. At Yale, Juliet was Head of the International Student Peer Liaison centre and worked with the Dean’s Office to implement and run mandatory consent education workshops for all first and second year undergraduates. In this role she also helped students interested in filing Title IX complaints: a federal law that prohibits gender discrimination in federally funded education programmes or activities.

Education: Juliet studied Political Science at Yale University where she focused on bioethics and surrogacy law. She is now undertaking her GDL at BPP.

Languages: Juliet speaks French and Greek to intermediate level.

Personal: Juliet grew up in Canada where she participated in the country’s wealth of outdoor activities including winter camping, dog sledding, portaging, waterskiing, skiing and snowboarding. She received a Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award in 2011. At Yale, Juliet was a member of the Varsity Women’s Crew Team and was in the boat that won the Head of the Charles’ Club Eight race.
