Isabel Mee, Associate
Isabel is an Associate at Vardags. Based in the Vardags Cambridge office, she advises clients on divorce and financial remedy matters, with a particular emphasis on high value cases involving complex issues such as non-matrimonial assets, valuations of corporate entities and interests, and non-disclosure. Isabel also has experience resolving cases using the arbitration process.
Isabel was awarded a Choral Scholarship to Girton College, Cambridge.
Isabel read law at Girton College, Cambridge. She completed her Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School, gaining a Distinction.
Prior to joining Vardags, Isabel interned at a global law firm, before working as a legal researcher at Chambers and Partners. Isabel later began work at Vardags as a paralegal on the Graduate Training Scheme in the firm’s London office, undertaking her LPC alongside her training. During this time, in addition to her work on complex high net worth divorce and finance cases, Isabel also spent considerable time working on various civil litigation and employment matters. Isabel is able to quickly understand complex company structures and income arrangements, knowledge which makes her particularly well-placed to assist clients in financial remedy proceedings involving these elements. Isabel completed the final part of her training at the firm’s Cambridge office and qualified as a solicitor at the firm, before being rapidly promoted to Associate the following year. Her great attention to detail has often been praised by clients, making her an invaluable member of the team, especially where there have been issues of non-disclosure or with tracing of assets.
Isabel is half Spanish, and speaks the language fluently.
