In 2015, Courtney completed the Graduate Diploma in Law with City University. She subsequently completed her LPC with BPP Law School in Holborn in 2016, gaining a distinction, and joined Vardags as a paralegal on the graduate training scheme that October. She became a trainee solicitor the following February. Since working at Vardags, Courtney has enjoyed exposure to a wide range of cases, particularly those with complex financial elements.

Education:

Courtney read English Language and Literature at St Hilda’s College, Oxford and graduated in 2014. In 2015, she went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law with City University.

Career:

While at school and university, Courtney gained work experience in several commercial law firms across London, including both magic and silver circle firms. In 2015, while undertaking the GDL, she volunteered as a McKenzie Friend with the National Centre for Domestic Violence.

Languages:

Courtney currently speaks French to a working proficiency.

Personal:

Outside of work, Courtney is a keen horsewoman and polo player, having ridden since she was 5 years old. She also enjoys travelling and, perhaps too frequently, indulging her love of theatre and ballet.
