Alex Curran Precis:

Prior to joining Vardags Alex worked at a boutique firm based in London’s West End. He qualified as a solicitor having completed his training contract in one of Manchester’s leading family law teams. He has experience in all elements of family law with a particular emphasis on the financial matters arising as a result of relationship breakdown, particularly in cases involving complex and substantial assets. Alex has worked on cases that have been heard in the High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.

Education:

Alex studied Law with French at Manchester Metropolitan University. He went on to complete the Legal Practice Course at BPP and the College of Law on a part-time basis whilst holding down a position as a paralegal in a national firm in Manchester.

Career:

Alex started his legal career as a paralegal in the Manchester office of one of the country’s leading national firms whilst studying the Legal Practice Course. He completed his training contract at the same firm, spending 16 months in the firm’s top-tier family law team and assisted on two cases heard in the Supreme Court and one heard in the Court of Appeal. Alex then moved to London to join a boutique West End firm as an Assistant Solicitor where he worked on cases involving high-profile celebrities and individuals with substantial wealth.

Languages:

Alex speaks French to an advanced level.

Personal:

Outside of the office, Alex has a keen interest in keeping fit and plays squash regularly. He has participated in a number of 10K and half-marathon events. He enjoys experimenting with cooking (to varying degrees of success) and spending time with his young niece.
