Sacha is a rising star in our Children Team, having initially joined Vardags in 2019 as part of the Graduate Training Programme. She specialises in private children cases, particularly those with an international element.
Sacha joined Vardags Graduate Training Programme in 2019, working across the different departments but focusing on family law and more specifically issues relating to children matters. Sacha qualified into the Children department and is developing a reputation for her knowledge and experience in this field, with a focus on:
- Private children law cases, especially those that have international elements
- All cross-border disputes involving children, including international relocation cases
- Hague and non-Hague abduction proceedings
- Intra-UK abduction and wrongful retention
Sacha has a great deal of experience in relation to domestic disputes involving children and has specific experience of cases involving parental alienation. She is experienced at dealing with time critical situations and meeting urgent deadlines.
Sacha offers her clients practical advice and solutions that are tailored to their individual requirements and needs. She will make sure any guidance is curated to the individual circumstances of the case to ensure that she gets the very best result for her clients in their specific proceedings.
Sacha is recognised for her client care, and she understands how important this is due to the sensitive nature of the cases that she is involved with. She is regarded as empathetic and sensitive and builds a relationship of trust with her clients making them feel reassured and meaning they feel confident in confiding in her. Sacha will always go the extra mile for her clients to make sure they are offered the very best service.
Sacha read Classics at Jesus College, Cambridge, specialising in History, Art and Archaeology.
As a student, Sacha interned at several divorce and family law firms, offering her an early insight into matrimonial finance and children disputes.
Sacha then completed her Graduate Diploma in Law and gained a distinction of 90% in her Legal Practice Course.
Sacha was involved as part of the Children Team for guest editing the Summer 2021 issue of the International Family Law, Policy and Practice Journal.

Sacha continues to enjoy music and is a violinist in the Academy of St Mary-le-Bow orchestra, playing both chamber and symphonic repertoire. She also enjoys going to the gym, reading and cuddling her two Ragdoll cats.
