Rebecca completed her training contract at Vardags in August 2020, achieving a distinction in her LPC and qualifying with Higher Rights of Audience. Rebecca now works as an Associate in both the family and criminal departments.
Rebecca read Law at Trinity College, Cambridge. She graduated in 2018 with a First class degree and received the Lizette Bentwich prize in recognition of her academic achievement.
Prior to Vardags, Rebecca completed two mini-pupillages at No5 Barristers Chambers and 9 St Johns Street Chambers, shadowing barristers who specialised in matrimonial finance disputes and criminal law respectively.
Rebecca is a competitive sportswoman and continues her training in London. Rebecca has swum the English Channel representing Cambridge and she is a former GB Biathlete and U20 English National Triathlon Champion. Rebecca also enjoys pro bono work. In 2017, she volunteered with a human rights brigade in Panama to provide legal advice on matters of family law to members of a rural community.
