Senior Director - Head of Children

Katherine specialises in children cases, in particular those with an international element. Her expertise covers all cross-border disputes involving children, with a focus on international relocation cases. Katherine also has a great deal of experience in child abduction matters (both Hague and non-Hague), and of representing children as their Solicitor Guardian. In addition she has significant experience in representing clients in proceedings under the inherent jurisdiction, international adoption, and in cases involving the registration and enforcement of foreign contact orders. Katherine also advises on domestic disputes involving children, and on issues relating to fertility and surrogacy.

Katherine has an undergraduate degree from Kings College, London in Classical, Byzantine and Modern Greek Studies. She completed her CPE and her LPC, both with Distinction.

Katherine also enjoys legal research, and frequently writes articles on areas and disputes in children law. This includes:

Katherine was interviewed in 2015 by BBC Radio 3 Counties, speaking about Child Abduction.


Katherine began her training at a leading niche family law firm, and qualified into their Children Department. She joined Vardags as a Senior Associate, and is now a Director.


Katherine is a native Greek speaker.


In her spare time, Katherine enjoys running, reading and cooking, and spending time with her family in Greece.
