Jonathan Rose

Jonathan works as a Senior Associate focusing his practice on family and divorce including cases with complex and international property disputes.

*Foreign Qualified, Admitted in Australia only (practising under direct supervision of an authorised member of the Solicitors profession in England and Wales)

Career

Upon graduation, Jonathan began his career at an Australian law firm, specialising in Family and Relationship Law. Jonathan is also a keen volunteer, and has worked with both Refugee Legal, assisting asylum seekers in making application for refugee status, and Victorian Legal Aid, advocating on behalf of Legal Aid clients in the Special Circumstances List of the Magistrate’s Court of Victoria. Jonathan also works as part of our Australian desk, serving HNW and UHNW clients across the country.

Education

Jonathan read Economics and Management at the University of Melbourne, where he then went on to complete his graduate law degree (Juris Doctor). While at University, Jonathan was a Research Assistant to Professor Mark Williams (Competition Law).

Personal

Jonathan is a keen sportsman; he enjoys skiing and playing Australian Rules football and basketball in his free time. He is also a fond supporter of the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League.
