*Admitted as a Barrister in England and Wales (Employed Barrister) and in Ireland (non-practising).
Jennifer has specific expertise in complex, multi-jurisdictional disputes and cross border claims, particularly if emergency injunctive relief is required. She advises and acts in all financial aspects arising from the breakdown of a relationship from interim financial matters to final hearing in the Financial Remedies Court. Jennifer is also experienced in international child relocation matters involving Hague and non-Hague jurisdictions, and in all matters involving the custody, care and control of children. Jennifer was admitted as a barrister in Ireland in 2010 where she established a successful general civil practice with a focus on matrimonial, family and child care law. Jennifer then spent 6 years in Hong Kong as a Registered Foreign Lawyer expanding her experience as an international litigator. From 2017 to 2022, she acted in highly contentious, high value multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes. Taking that knowledge, Jennifer then returned to her roots as a family lawyer representing UHNW/HNW clients in a boutique Hong Kong firm, before joining Vardags in September 2023. Jennifer was admitted as a barrister in England & Wales in 2019.
Jennifer has held various board positions for the International Women’s Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation, and for a leading aviation bank in Ireland.

Jennifer is a keen traveller and, in addition to living in Asia, she spent the first year of her legal career as a researcher in the University of Otago, New Zealand. When not working out on her reformer Pilates machine, or walking her two Maltese dogs, Jennifer can be found in a dance studio or salsa club.
As a family law practitioner, Jennifer has worked on many notable, landmark cases including B.B. v HSE & Ors, which involved a challenge to the Glencar principles of public policy in family law proceedings, and the case of RPB v CFB. Jennifer has also acted in some of the leading offshore cases spanning the past seven years, many of which reached the Privy Council.
