
Ezgi studied Law (LLB) at SOAS, University of London, where she recieved a First Class Honours. Her dissertation, Legal Pluralism & British-Muslim Women Upon the Breakdown of Marriage, explored the challenges faced by British-Muslim women in religious-only marriages and was awarded a mark of 80.
Prior to joining Vardags, Ezgi worked at a family-run wholesaler during her university studies, where she assisted the Managing Director and established the company’s debt collection department. Upon completing her degree, she joined Vardags in July 2024 as a Content Creation Specialist, producing a wide range of legal content for the firm. In September 2025, Ezgi transitioned into her current role as a Paralegal.
Ezgi has a longstanding interest in fashion, having participated in the National Fashion & Business Saturday Club hosted by the University of the Arts London (UAL). During her degree, she ran an online womenswear boutique, which featured in pop-up shopping events at Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City.
Outside of work, Ezgi enjoys Reformer Pilates, travelling, and spending time with her pup, Leo.
