Eleanor is an Associate at Vardags. Her practice is focused on all aspects of divorce and financial proceedings, including complex financial cases and cases with an international element. She seeks to combine high-quality and pragmatic legal advice with a calm and personable manner. She has worked on cases for a wide range of individuals from complex business interests to the entertainment and sporting world.
Eleanor has experience in a range of matters, both contentious and non-contentious, including resolving complex financial disputes and issues relating to private law children matters. She has experience dealing with cases involving international assets, complex trust structures, and allegations of non-disclosure. Eleanor also has experience in drafting Pre and Post nuptial agreements as well as Cohabitation Agreements.
Eleanor attended the University of York specialising in History. She focused mainly on Russian History but also took a keen interest in the Tudors and the history of York to fully appreciate the medieval setting she was studying in. She then chose to specialise in Law and received a distinction in both her GDL and LPC courses.
Eleanor is a qualified Rescue Scuba Diver. She enjoys travel, the outdoors and has lived in Germany, France, Romania, South Africa, and Taiwan. In her spare time she enjoys tennis, baking and swimming. Eleanor is a member of the British Museum and maintains her passion for history through reading and visiting historic sites.
Eleanor also volunteers in a pro bono legal clinic in the evenings giving advice to disadvantaged families. The clinic was recognised in the LawWorks Pro Bono Awards 2020 for the digital advice given to client during the pandemic.
