Charlotte is a Senior Associate in the family team. She advises high-net worth individuals on all issues arising from the breakdown of a relationship, often dealing with matters involving complex trust structures, overseas assets and pre-nuptial agreements. Charlotte has acted for an array of UHNW clients, including entrepreneurs, business owners and executive officers.
Charlotte also has notable experience dealing with children act proceedings, including those with an international element. She has worked alongside family psychologists amongst other experts to ensure that the children’s needs are put first. Alongside this, Charlotte is well-versed in dealing with injunctive proceedings, having worked at the National Centre for Domestic Violence before embarking on her legal career.
Whilst Charlotte has extensive litigation experience, she will also seek to achieve an out of court settlement if at all possible. She is strategic, result-focused, and dedicated to achieving the best possible results for her clients.
Charlotte has authored a number of articles, and has been published in Resolutions The Review, The New Law Journal, and Lexology.
Before joining Vardags, Charlotte worked at a large, top tier, commercial practice.
Charlotte studied Law at the University of Southampton, before achieving a distinction at the University of Law, Guildford.
Outside of work, Charlotte enjoys running (albeit mostly badly) socialising with friends and travelling, having previously taken a year away from her studies to see as much of the world as possible.
