Alicia Fernandez Fontalba

edUCATION

Alicia studied comparitive law at IE University (Madrid) whilst simultaneously self-studying an LLB in civil and English law with the University of Law. She completed a LPC at the University of Law attaining a distinction. In addition to this, she is completing the notarial practice course at UCL. 

CAREER

Alicia worked at Norton Rose Fulbright in their Paris office as a banking paralegal specialising in shipping finance and aviation finance. She also worked as a finance paralegal specialising in fund finance and speciality finance for Travers Smith. 

languages

Native English and Spanish with proficient French and elementary Swedish.

PERSONAL

Alicia is keen sportswoman and often spends time dancing in a studio or watching and playing football and padel. She enjoys returing to her family home in the South of Spain and going for long walks at the beach. She mentors at GROW where she helps students in their journey into law. She likes going to the theatre and exploring neighbourhoods in London.
