Vardags Criminal Department ranked in Legal 500 2020

Vardags’ criminal department was recommended this week in the Legal 500’s industry-leading rankings of top law firms.

The criminal team was praised for its exceptional client care. Solicitors were said to “go the extra mile to ensure client’s needs are met”.

The Head of Criminal Defence, Robert Conway was singled out for particular praise. “His client’s love him,” the guide reported, in no small part because he provides “clear and concise advice and leads the team with authority.”

Since the department’s launch back in 2016, Robert Conway and Lucy Winter have built an outstanding reputation, with particular success in early-stage, pre-charge intervention.

Providing full representation from pre-arrest to trial and criminal appeals, they have helped defend clients and protect their family lives and careers from accusations of fraud, sexual and drug offences, as well as driving and other offences.
