“Unparalleled” team at Vardags “will fight your case all the way and stop at nothing to win” finds Legal 500

Ayesha was this week recognised as one of Legal 500’s "Leading Individuals" in the industry-leading rankings published this week.

Vardags, celebrated for its’ “unparalleled” advice and service “will fight your case all the way and stop at nothing to win”, according to the directory, which ranked Vardags offices in London, Cambridge, Newcastle and Manchester in the listings.

As in previous years Catherine Thomas and Georgina Hamblin received particular praise. Legal 500 praised Catherine’s “remarkable intellect, formidable legal prowess and client care that is out of the movies”. Georgina was found to be a “wonderful lawyer who always goes the extra mile for her clients”.

The Legal 500 was also impressed by the “very personable and knowledgeable” Kelly Edwards who has a “vast array of experience to call upon” as well as the “truly excellent team of junior solicitors” including “absolutely excellent” senior associate Cate Maguire and Sophie Cantillon who has “excellent knowledge of the law and takes command of the situation”.

The Cambridge office was found to be a particular strength of the firm, which, led by the “highly experienced and diligent” Arron Bortoft, has a reputation for ’top-quality representation’, carrying the strength of the Vardags brand into the East Anglian market.

There was high praise for “terrific” Naomi Rainey, Vicki Mclynn and Emma Gill in Manchester which Legal 500 notes has ‘already made a great impact having only opened in Manchester relatively recently’. The guide notes that Emma Gill is “completely devoted to her clients” and Vicki is always exceptionally “on top of matters and well prepared”.

In Newcastle Susanne Shah “combines family law expertise with specialist knowledge in immigration law, making her well equipped to advise clients on family law matters with an international element.”
