On Tuesday, the wonderfully talented Sarah Wiseman—our Number 2—was named Most Outstanding Lady Player at the 2016 Polo Awards, otherwise known as the 'Oscars of Polo'. Today the Vardags team won their first game in the Archie David Cup, giving us all the more reason to celebrate. Vardags achieved an impressive 6-4 win against worthy opponents Yaguara at Guards Polo Club's Flemish Farm ground. Set against the magnificent backdrop of Windsor Castle, spectators enjoyed a thrilling match, and the overcast skies clearly failed to put a dampener on our team's spirits, as they emerged victorious earlier this afternoon. Vardags next game will take place on Friday 10th June at 3pm, when they will be playing against Surrey Polo.
