A highlight in the Vardags' calendar, the annual event raises money for research into childhood cancers with a charity ball, operas and auction at the magnificent Syon house. On a night of heart-wrenching arias and playful coloratura, guests gathered in Syon's famous Great Conservatory for dinner and two intimate performances by Britain's foremost chamber opera company. Diva Opera performed the beloved favourites: Puccini's La Bohème and Rossini's La Cerentola, fit choices for a night of tears, laughter and astounding beauty.

The charity is close to the hearts of Vardags founder and president Ayesha Vardag and Director of Strategy Stephen Bence, opera aficionados themselves, for whom supporting the event each year is extremely important.
