![Angels of the North: Vardags acquires Manchester office](https://vardags.com/images/pictures/_360/901e0e60dfd516fbc3690c815326fd37.png)Vardags is spreading its wings and flying north. President [Ayesha Vardag](https://vardags.com/staff/ayesha-vardag/)and Managing Director [Catherine Thomas](https://vardags.com/staff/catherine-thomas/) made their first visit to the brand new Vardags Manchester office space, right in the heart of this historic city, and took delivery of the keys on Wednesday.

Of course, such an auspicious step called for a celebration, so both ladies promptly took themselves out for lunch at the super-chic boutique [Gotham Hotel](https://www.hotelgotham.co.uk/) next to the office in prestigious King Street.

Ayesha has said of the expansion north to Manchester:

> We've been really impressed with the family courts when we've done cases up there - fabulously efficient with really helpful, switched-on judges really working to get the job done. Add the fact that the economy is booming in Manchester, with huge prosperity there and in the surrounding areas, and it's the obvious next hub for high net worth family law.
