Both are ultra high net worth individuals in their own right. Mariah Carey is one of the biggest selling recording artist of all time, with an estimated net worth of $500 million USD (£320.2 million). This is somewhat dwarfed however by the assets of her intended, who is Australia's fourth richest man with an estimated fortune of $4.5 billion USD (£3.1billion). The transpacific pair have only been an item for a few months, going public with their relationship while on holiday on the Italian island of Capri in June 2015. This will be the third marriage for both parties.
