Georgina Hamblin discusses the division of assets in Paul Hollywood's divorce

Georgina Hamblin has commented on Paul Hollywood's divorce, she stated "In England and Wales, the starting point in a case like this is that Paul Hollywood and his wife are considered equal. The home-maker — especially if children are involved — is deemed to have made a full contribution to the marriage and therefore entitled to half of everything."

These comments were made in response to Alex, Paul's wife, being advised that she is entitled to half of his fortune. Additionally, she has been assured that she will retain their £2.4 million marital home. To ensure that Alex receives her fair share, her legal team has been thoroughly examining Paul's accounts. Hamblin believes that, "It's not just his companies which will be taken into account but the whole honey pot. This means that assets will be split too."
