Vardags President Ayesha Vardag spoke to [Reuters UK](https://uk.reuters.com/article/divorce-rybolovlev-idUKL6N0O74M220140521) following the latest round in one of the biggest divorces in history. The case, which concerns Russian fertiliser magnate Dmitry Rybolovlev, saw the wife gain a $4,500,000,000 pay out.

The case has a long legal history, with proceedings in Switzerland, several US states and Russia. The disputed assets include a Manhattan penthouse, a French football club and a Greek island.

Discussing the case, Ayesha explained that the global nature of the case would lead to difficulties in enforcing the award, which was made in the Swiss courts.
