The case, which concerns Russian fertiliser magnate Dmitry Rybolovlev, saw the wife gain a $4,500,000,000 pay out.

The case has a long legal history, with proceedings in Switzerland, several US states and Russia. The disputed assets include a Manhattan penthouse, a French football club and a Greek island.

Discussing the case, Ayesha explained that the global nature of the case would lead to difficulties in enforcing the award, which was made in the Swiss courts. "*For clients like this, we often find that this can be just as hard-fought as the initial divorce proceedings*," she said, drawing on her own experience of fighting complex, multi-jurisdictional cases.
