Leora graduated from Emmanuel College, Cambridge with a BA in the English Tripos in 2015. In June 2016, she achieved a Commendation on the Graduate Diploma in Law with City University for which she was awarded an Astbury Scholarship and Harmsworth entrance exhibition from The Honourable Society of the Middle Temple. During the conversion course Leora worked with The School Exclusions Project, a pro bono scheme aiding permanently excluded children back into mainstream education. She also volunteered with Vocalise as a debating mentor and as a group leader for Big Voice London’s model law commission, focusing on the law surrounding surrogacy. Leora joined Vardags as a paralegal on the graduate training scheme in September 2016 and has embarked on the LPC part time with BPP Law School Holborn.
When not working or studying, Leora is likely to be pursuing her passion for dance. She is classically trained and has achieved distinctions in Grade 8 RAD Ballet, Intermediate ISTD Modern and Advanced 1 Tap. Whilst at Cambridge, she took part in numerous performances and was the Vice President of the university Ballet Club 2014-15. Since moving to London, she has frequented the Royal Opera House, Sadler’s Wells and Pineapple studios. Her other interests include food, cinema and beautiful shoes.
