Lisa joined Vardags as part of the Graduate Training Scheme, having graduated from the University of Oxford in 2016 with a BA in Jurisprudence. During her time at university Lisa developed a passion for access work and worked with various organisations, such as the Social Mobility Foundation and Pure Potential, running programmes for state school students hoping to study Law at a top university. She also completed training with Amicus, a charity aiming to provide adequate representation for people on death row in the US.
Having enjoyed tutoring and mentoring whilst at university, Lisa continued to pursue her interest in education upon graduation through further tutoring and working as an assistant at a primary school before joining Vardags in February 2017.
During her spare time Lisa enjoys volunteering and travelled to Bulgaria to work at a day centre for disabled children. She also has a great passion for a variety of types of music, having learned to play the flute at the age of 10, and enjoys going to gigs and concerts.
