James Claringbold
James Claringbold graduated with honours in Law and Arts from the University of Western Australia in 2007. He was subsequently taken on as an articled clerk at O’Sullivan Davies Family Lawyers in Perth, and under the tutelage of that firm was admitted as a Barrister & Solicitor to the Supreme Court of Western Australia in 2008, and to the High Court of Australia in 2010.
James relocated to the United Kingdom in 2010, at which time he joined Vardags and commenced working in English Family Law. He has a particular interest in high-value financial cases, and developments in the law concerning increasingly significant areas such as pre-nuptial agreements and financial relief for unmarried partners.
Aside from being an avid bass-guitarist and musician, James also enjoys reading, art, architecture and travel in his spare time.
