FAQ

Q:What if I need more money than the CSA provide for?

A:

The Child Support Agency (CSA)’s role is limited when it comes to ‘paying parents’ (i.e. parents who don’t have day-to-day care of the child) with salaries over £2,000 per week (£104,000 per year). It is at this stage the court can make orders for child maintenance and, unlike the CSA, the court will take a highly case-specific approach to any application.
